We’re like family at Perring Properties

Well in fact we are family.

Husband and wife, Tim and Amanda Perring, along with son-in-law Terence and the rest of the staff, are known for establishing extremely warm and friendly relationships with clients within the framework of a highly efficient and professional service. A service built on trust, best-practice and a commitment to deliver outstanding results, every time.

Tim has been involved in construction since 1982 starting in the family business with his father in South Devon. He moved the company to Cornwall in 2003 where the business has grown in size and reputation every year. He lives in the family home in the countryside not far from Bodmin, with wife Amanda, who is a fellow director of the company. He is a passionate Exeter Chiefs fan, keen gardener and fledgling cider maker.

An interiors fanatic, Amanda has a great passion for renovation, development and interior design. Together with Tim she has transformed many projects of their own, including an 18th century property in Padstow, which they ran as a boutique hotel for a number of years. In her current role of Finance Director, she keeps a close eye on the company’s purse strings and keeps fit running and dog-walking. She is also an excellent cook.

Terence previously worked for Tim and Amanda on their construction sites during and after University. Following a spell away from the business, where he built up specialist skills in social housing and local government protocols, he rejoined the team as Project Manager in 2012. When not in the office, Terence enjoys cooking, eating, walking his dog Milo, playing golf and cycling.

A founding partner of Landmark Kitchens, Mat joined Perring Properties in 2015. The two companies already had a successful working relationship, having collaborated previously on a number of projects, so combining them seemed like the perfect fit.
Although times have moved on from the days when Mat designed, built and installed all the kitchens himself, it is still his expertise, vision and firm commitment to craftsmanship, precision and a flawless service that makes him such a valuable member of the team. An avid tennis player and keen sailor, Mat and his wife are currently enjoying living on a boat – that obviously has a great kitchen!

We should say Cabinetmaker Extraordinaire, because at the tender age of just 23, Archie really is a chip off the old block. Following in his father’s footsteps, he is already producing work of the very highest standard. When he isn’t busy designing and building beautiful kitchens, he enjoys spending time with his young family. He has a passion for skateboarding and an impressive vinyl collection.

All our foremen have vast experience in the day to day running of small and large projects. They have been with our company for over 10 years and during that time have worked on many different types of commissions, and in every case, have built up excellent on-site relationships with both the customer as well as architects, surveyors and other on-site professionals. Reassuringly, and as you’d expect, a dedicated foreman is allocated to each project and will monitor every stage through to completion.

As Head of Security, Monty the springer spaniel, takes his role very seriously by enthusiastically his wagging tail and rolling onto his back for anyone that visits the office. Even the postman! A little more boisterous, Young Pretender Milo although only a year into the job, is showing great potential under the watchful eye of his uncle.
